Hmmm. There are things I like about the product. It looks good. The quality of the picture is good. I like the clip on the receiver so it can go on your belt. The camera captures a good, wide picture. I like the night light. Unfortunately though I am not a big fan for a few reasons. You can't move the camera remotely... I use my monitor for a puppy so I need to be able to scan about for him. Not an issue if you're watching a baby as they don't run around! I don't like the user interface. The touch buttons are fiddly and the menu structure is not intuitive. I want a permanent picture option too rather than it being turned on by action from the baby.I already have a monitor that was a fifth of the price but has better functionality. The picture and sound quality are not as good but I wouldn't swap...

This is a cunning piece of kit and has uses far beyond baby-watching. It is also very handy for keeping an eye on disabled relatives, giving them the confidence that is they fall or shout out, they can summon help quickly, without you needing to be in constant attendance. In the past it would have been very useful to keep an eye on a dog with behavioural issues. I get a good signal across the greatest diagonal distance across the house which has to be about 20 metres, through 4 brick walls and a floor. That said, there is one room in the house that mysteriously doesn’t get any signal at all. I love that it also functions as a walkie talkie, saving many trips running up and down stairs from my office where I would be trying to do a bit of work. The transmitter automatically transmits sound, so disabled relative doesn’t need to fumble with buttons and potentially upset the carefully positioned camera. We run the transmitter on mains, as it is sitting beside a socket, and we find that...

Because it's a simplistic camera it only requires a simple set-up: Position it, point it in the direction you require, and leave it alone. The connection is good between the camera and he receiver, with me testing them within my flat. This was between a few rooms with my maximum distance available (about 45 metres), and the connection remained strong. The picture quality, as well as the sound, are very clear with a good range low to high pitches heard and picked-up through the receiver.The receiver is lightweight and designed to be carried around with you, whereas the camera is set in a fixed position once you've set it up, it doesn't track movement or move in anyway - so it's literally for positioning on a baby's crib. It's not designed to track your pets or family members - if you want to monitor those type of things, buy another camera.
