A dream for new parents...but don't expect it to last 8 months!, 1 Oct. 2015

Fantastic product but overpriced and baby likely to outgrow by 3-4 months.

We purchased when my daughter was 3 weeks old as she didn't respond well to swaddling but needed some closeness for comfort during sleep. The sleepyhead worked a treat! She took to it straight away and slept soundly (helped reduce her flaying arms and legs). I thought it was wonderful.

The reason I'm not rating higher is because:

1. I feel advertising the product as 0-8 months is misleading - my daughter is quite long but at only 12 weeks has completely grown out of it. Even a smaller baby would grow out by 4 months old. Many of my mummy friends have the same feedback.

2. Price tag - so given it lasts 12-18 weeks (if you use from birth) it's a pricey bit of kit. When I have washed the sheet you realise just how basic it really is (card board base and a cushion!)

3. It comes with one white sheet and spares are very pricey
