This is a strange review to write because I love the item but I'm having difficulties keeping it illuminated. I have been through countless batteries with this. I don't have it on for very long but it seems the next time I try and turn it on the batteries are dead. I guess it still looks cute as a decorative item but I wouldn't recommend it as a nightlight or anything unless you have an endless supply of batteries.
