I searched high and low for a large, soft, hooded towel for my 9 month old son. At almost half the price of the cuddleroar dragon toddler towel and with great reviews I decided to plump for this one and save the dragon towel until he was a little older.

Pros

Its lovely and big.

It comes up very fluffy if you tumbledry it.

It's a nice colour

It has two straps so that you can tie it around your neck to free up your hands

It has a hood to keep your baby's head warm.

Cons

The care instructions state that it should be washed at 30 degrees!!! Who washes towels at thirsty degrees. Ridiculous!

It's not particularly well made. The first one I received actually came apart (at the ears) in the very first wash. The second one is fine but the frog hood isnt amazing quality and i would go as far as to say that the hood actually looks quite cheap (which, clearly, at approx £20, it is not!)

The lime colour comes off in the wash so beware...

Great towel - nice and absorbent but not overly fluffy. Perfect size for 2 year old.no colour running nor flush in washing machine.

I had spent weeks looking for a large hooded towel for my large 11 month old, but they all seemed to be either the standard 75cm x 75cm or ridiculously expensive.I found this one day while trawling through Amazon's hooded towels and thought I'd order it although it was unreviewed.It was just what we were looking for! A large towel, big enough to wrap around bub and cover his feet. The material is lovely and soft and a bright, funky green with fab froggy ears which my son loves. It washes well, hasn't shrunk or discoloured. Will be adding more of these to our collection, and buying them as gifts for my pregnant friends.
