My first epilator, and I have to say I really love it. This 3-in-1 device was provided to me at no cost for evaluation, and I wasn't sure what to expect. As it turns out, I like everything about it: it's light to hold, easy to use, with a quite ergonomic shape so it doesn't slip, and it works really well.
The three different heads are a bonus. The epilator attachment has a very rounded, sleek shape and slides over the skin effortlessly. With a Slow and a Fast speed, you have a choice of action. I tend to use the fast speed for the legs and armpits and the slow for the bikini area. It seems to work on hairs of all lengths (within limits, of course), but the ideal is around 3-4 mm. Don't expect a totally smooth result the first time around. For me it's been a gradual process as I had to get used to the slight plucking sting, and I found that it takes quite a few passes to remove everything. I only wish I'd read some of the reviews over at Amazon.com before purchasing as would have gone for a more expensive model.
Unfortunately, the product was off to a bad start with terrible packaging (aside from very poor design), it had spelling errors! I honestly don't know why companies who are targeting an English speaking market don't bother to have their packaging proofread - this isn't a dig at non-native English speakers, but it is a dig at those who show a lack of care and an unprofessional, sloppy approach as it doesn't allow customers to put much faith in their attention to detail!
With that aside, the packaging claimed there was a pouch and also a special attachment for sensitive areas - neither of these were included, and it would seem other folks in the US have also queried the mysterious missing sensitive-area attachment.
In terms of the product design, it looks quite nice and is comfortable to hold. That's just about where the positives...
