I buy this product locally for around £5. I been using it for over 6 months. I am mixed race and hair texture is between 3c, 4a and even 4b, prone to breakage and gets very dry. This product in my experience is absolutely brilliant, I use it before a deep conditioner (usually shea moisture brand) or sometimes alone if I want a quick wash and go and my hair has been in a protective style so is dry.
It's very light but cleans hair thoroughly, I focus on my scalp and roots not really the lengths, possibly those who experience dryness from this product use it all over their hair - personally I don't think the product should be used in that way - it's not really for adding moisture it's to give a gentle clean. The smell doesn't linger and isn't at all offensive, the product isn't greasy and feels lighter than most shampoos. Also note that this product won't create a lather in hair, so if you like the sulfate lather effect this isn't for you.

I'm on the shelf about this CoWash.
It cleans my very dry/damaged bleached blond hair very well, but It leaves it feeling a bit dry and tangly.
I need to add a leave in serum or conditioner to be able to brush it out, even using my awsome "Wet Brush". This is most probably due to the abuse to my hair over the years, and I'm sure it would be very good on normal un-damaged hair.
It has a light coconuty smell which doesn't linger at all once rinsed, and smells slightly fake, but still quite pleasent.
It feels very nice when washing my hair, and you don't seem to need half a tub, (like some other brands of a similar nature).
A couple of scoops out of the pot is enough to do my mid length hair, and give my scalp a thorough "massage" (this part is essential to get the hair clean). I then clip it up for the remainder of my shower and rinse very well at the end.
