will keep out large bugs but not mosquitos or midge or fruit flies. very flimsy fabric. weak adhesive on the velcro strips., 1 May 2015
well it definitely didn't work as i had hoped. the mesh is more like a light lace much less stiff that say ballet dress voil, and i had thought it would be harder as in the photo it looks quite firm. it is silky and flimsy and the holes are as big as ballet dress voile which is big enough to let in the little midges and fruit flies i wanted to keep out. the sticky velco stuff has a sticky side which you attach to you windows but the sticky is so weak and the velcro so strong that if you try to open it your more likely to remove the whole tape than the netting, and then it doesn't restock very well. I've found other uses for the velco and the mesh and will buy a proper screen which is firm with small holes and a proper opening and closing system.
