The Ear Irrigator is very controllable and easy to use. The tri-stream nozzle is ingenious and may prove valuable in removing loose material from the ear canal. However, it did not prove effective in removing more obstinate material or that adhering to the ear canal. Removing the tri-stream nozzle enables a single stream with moderate force to dispel some obstinate material. It is important to precede the flushing of the ear with the Ear Irrigator by using active ear drops e.g. Otex for several days.
