We stuck these on the corners of our fireplace with the sticky patches included and our 9 month old son simply picked them up and put them straight in his mouth!

It works....with a little work., 22 Aug. 2013
I purchased these as I have a habit of cutting myself on the corners of objects low on the ground such as my home theatre subwoofer (already cut my leg twice!). So I found these corner protectors on amazon which I assume are used often for baby proofing.I just received them and they're very good quality, the rubber is quite firm but still soft enough to work as intended.The real negative about this product is actually the adhesive that sticks the rubber to the corners and holds them in place.You get a pack of double sided sticky pads (two for each protector) but these do not work as well as intended. while they will hold the protectors in place a little bump will cause them to fall off.For me this is not a huge problem as a previous review stated a small blob of blu-tac will remedy this problem.With a little extra work this works just fine.

Practical and safe, 15 May 2011
I found these corner guards to be safe and practical. The self adhesive pads aren't really strong enough, so I used superglue to attach them to the corners of my kitchen surfaces. This may limit how you use them if you don't want them to be permanently attached to furniture. However they look unobtrusive and do the job they are intended for, protecting our children from any serious bumps on a couple of occassions.The bigger guards may be better for thicker table tops or work surfaces.
