Needs very hot water to work!, 31 Jan. 2010

Bought this for my little ones (2 and 5). They were excited at first, but the spots on the clothes didn't seem to wash off as promised. I found out while washing the clothing bits that they need very hot water to work properly - much hotter than you could safely have around a young child. This product therefore does not work for the target users - it is essentially useless.

Needs a hot wash, 27 Sept. 2011

As with most parents of small children, the water in our baths tends to be no higher than body temperature. Unfortunately, the make the "dirt" disappear, you need much hotter water.We have had some success with rubbing the "dirt" with our (grown up) thumbs to heat the patch with friction but it only lasts for a few seconds and can't be done by the children.All in all, not a good toy for it's target market. Very disappointing
