Good quality, very tightly woven cotton. Not stiff and washes well. My only gripe is that it's very tight, so putting it on the mattress is a challenge (especially after a wash). An extra inch or so in height would certainly help.As to its dust-mite fighting properties, I can't really comment. My child's symptoms don't have an obvious pattern so it's hard to judge to what extent this works (or doesn't). All I can say is changing your bedding is no silver bullet. You have to be prepared to go all the way - clean frequently, strip the carpets, wash curtains, change bedding at least once a week, install a dehumidifier, the list goes on. Remember adults do spend up to a third, and children up to half of their lives asleep, but the rest of the time we still have a contact with the mites. Sometimes half an hour on an old sofa is enough to undo all the effort.

I just bought it yesterday.i found it very comfortable material & tightly wooven.quality is excellent but the only thing disappointed me its zip is not completely close which can allow bed bug get in or go out.overall quality is awesome.

I love these covers. I use them on all my mattresses and pillows. Hubby is an asthma sufferer who has noticed a difference sine we started using them. They give me piece of mind regarding bedbugs which freak me out.
