Received this item and I am a bit confused. It does not go round the mattress, it's just a piece of cloth that certainly isn't waterproof. Kept checking the item thinking that perhaps I was sent the wrong item but it does say 'waterproof mattress protector' on the pack. In the process of returning and asking for a refund.

Not had an 'accident' yet so not sure how effective this is but lovely and soft! Good shape and size.
