So soothing!, 28 July 2015

As i am fair skinned, i unfortunately do catch the sun sometimes no matter how hard i try to protect myself. The aftersun i usually use is really greasy but with this one, it doesn't actually feel like a chore applying it. The first thing i noticed about this gel is the smell! It smells so nice due to the aloe vera and oils in this product. As it has these ingredients, the gel is very soothing and it quickly moisturises the skin. It absorbs easily and quickly heals burnt skin. The best thing about this product is that it contains nothing nasty- its paraben, silicone and mineral oil free which is a bonus.The bottle makes it easy to dispense the gel and is secure so it will not leak in your handbag. Customer Video Review Length:: 1:43 MinsSent to me for review, aloe vera has been used for a number of years as a natural ingredient against sunburn and here we see it as both a sunburn and moisturiser product, working alongside organic olive, allantoin and provitamin B5.It comes in a very appealing, modern and classic (100ml /8.4 fl oz) plastic bottle with a gold coloured lid. You don't have to open the lid to remove the product as you just have to press it on one side and it opens up on the other.For some reason I was expecting this to be white in colour but it's actually a thick, clear gel with a pleasant flowery scent. I found that it absorbed very well into my skin and there was no trace of it minutes later. It was nice and soothing on the skin and it definitely helped with my sunburn.

Another winner from Venus Secrets, 1 Aug. 2015

I use a lot of Venus Secrets products as I love the ethics of the company and the 100% natural products they use, So when I was offered this after burn gel at a reduced price for my honest review I jumped at the opportunity, especially as I am off to the South of France tomorrow. I have been unable to test the after burn properties it claims, as we have had no sun here to get burnt, however I have tried it on some very dry areas of my body. It has a lovely scent, absorbs easily into the skin and leaves a cool lovely soft feeling. It comes in an attractive bottle that dispenses the cream smoothly and easily, no vigorous shaking needed, I will update this review after my holiday.
