Outer - A waterproof & breathable PUL
Inner - Suede cloth: Suede cloth wicks moisture away from baby's bottom. It is an excellent choice next to baby's skin for pocket style cloth diapers. Liquid passes right through suede cloth into the inner absorbent layers of the insert. Unlike fleece there is no pilling.
Insert - 3-layer ultra-absorbent microfiber insert

It only has two rise settings, which isn't very convenient, and highly unusual in my experience with Alva nappies. I also don't like how the "leaf" part doesn't overlap at the front, meaning it won't fit tiny babies in the smallest rise and as baby gets older there will be a gap at the front that looks a bit silly. Great cute little nappy, 7 Nov. 2015

This is my favourite disposable nappy (also use little blooms). My daughter nurses whilst laying on her side in bed, and this nappy has extra elasticated and plastic around the legs which prevents leaks, which will often happen when laying down. I would recommend purchasing the Alva charcoal liners as an extra too, as they're far superior to the microfibre and bamboo liners.Fit my baby from 2 weeks old, although she was over 10 pounds at this point so may be too large for small babies from birth.
