I bought this for my three and a half year old grandchild because she was showing an interest in telling the time from the clock on the kitchen wall. She loves it, and has quickly learned to manipulate the hands independently of each other (at first the hour hand tends to move away from its original number when the second hand is placed). After two plays with it she was able to set various o'clock times, and it is now incorporated into all her games of school, library, birthday parties etc. I would definitely recommend.
