best manual i have used, 27 Mar. 2015
Bought this to start expressing for comfort and to get a small freezer supply going ready for weaning/to make a bottle if I need to leave baby. By far the best manual pump I have come across - durable and you can hold the suction so once the milk let's down it keeps coming without constant pumping which means your hand doesn't get tired. The handle also twists so you can adjust the angle of your grip to whatever is comfortable for you. Easy to assemble and clean.

excellent pump, 9 Sept. 2013
This is my third pump that I have bought 8 months into breastfeeding. I have tried a Mam manual and a Medela Swing(with the smaller insert) previously but find that this Ameda pump gets the best milk yield for me.........in fact the other two hardly produced 1/2oz in my case! I can now pump 2oz in 15 minutes from one breast. I'm guessing from this that the pump is well suited to those with smaller breasts/areolas.Its a fantastic simple design thats easy to clean and doesn't cause a really sore arm. The box includes a silicone small insert which is really comfortable. I'm impressed!

Great for occasional use, 28 Jan. 2015
This pump is great do occasional use, either to express a feed for your baby, or to relieve engorgement. It was fairly simple to assemble, there's an optional flexible shield that you can use or just the hard one. It comes with a valve (plus a spare) and a proper cap for the bottle. I also purchased some Ameda milk storage bottles, they are compatible with it too. The One handed action is one handed, so is ideal if you have more than one child or are a busy mum! The green pump handle feels a little flimsy, but otherwise the quality is good.
