What I like about the camera is that it only kicks in ..., 15 Feb. 2015

Decided to buy this product as needed to be able to hear my baby cry, which is a tad difficult when you are deaf and don’t wear your aid(s) at night! So one baby monitor, parent unit and vibrating pad purchased… nearly a year later and what do I think?

Baby Unit:

The baby monitor has to be plugged in to enable it to work. Personally I think the cable could be longer to enable you to use a socket further away, as not all houses have plenty of sockets in a room, so you may have to get creative or re-jiggle where to position the baby unit and bed.

The camera has 2 settings on it. One is long range and the other closer up. I usually leave it on the long range setting as does the job perfectly well.

The quality of the image surprised us when we first got it, having used other monitors with more grainy images. It is really clear. All our friends have also commented on the clarity of the image in comparison to their baby monitors...
