Amzdeal Safety Cupboard Locks - Excellent Safety Product - Magnetic, 12 Aug. 2016

As a mother and foster carer of many children safety has always been a priority for me and so the opportunity to order these new innovative safety locks was jumped at.

They arrived in a sealed hard plastic wrapped package. On the back of the package there is a stapled on instructions sheet but it is written in various languages that do not include English. HOWEVER, the English instructions are printed clearly on the back card and are a lot more detailed and in-depth than the leaflet.

So to install is really very straight forward once you have decided where you want to place them.

As you have the choice between screwing and/or sticking these on with 3M sticky backed pads. For the very young the pads may be strong enough but I personally would prefer to screw them in as well. Please note that screws are not provided if you decide to go down this route you will need some small screws.

Lining the hooks up can be a little tricky so my advise is...

These locks impressed me greatly they are made extremely well from good quality plastic materials the locks and all accessories, 6 Sept. 2016

I received this in exchange for a honest review.

These locks impressed me greatly they are made extremely well from good quality plastic materials the locks and all accessories that go with it are very strong very robust.

I used mine on the cupboard that I keep the bleach and other corrosive cleaners in, the great thing about this is it's magnetic so you do not need to drill holes in the doors. I have not long replaced my kitchen so I would not be happy drilling through our new doors so this is ideal installation was easy and quick and I did it all myself.

I have no issues with the key going missing as I place it on our magnetic notice board which is high enough up so the younger children can't reach it but I can remember where it is.

The only issue that I can possibly think about is if nobody knows about it and yanks on the door how the lock will handle under pressure like that I don't know but so far I am very impressed with the cupboard...

Very easy to fit, 28 Sept. 2016
Very easy to fit, did so by eye. Took a few days to familiarise myself with where exactly I had put each one on each drawer and door in the kitchen. 1 year old has been stood up pulling a best she can and nothing has even moved, so the tape is very strong. I've accidentally ripped one out, but this was because i gave it a big sudden pull after forgetting that I'd installed it and thought that the laundry pile on the floor was hindering the door from opening.I would definitely recommend this product, nice and neat way of securing kitchen drawers for us.The ability to lock open means that when the baby is in bed or away the doors can be closed and opened without the use of the magnet.Would buy again, in an instant.
