Andrex Gentle Clean Washlets 42 Flushable are one item I am happy to recommend to anyone who like myself likes their bottom feeling peachy smooth and squeaky clean! I love using these alongside my usual brand of toilet tissue as I simply like the softness of them plus the added bonus of the actual washlet being soft yet strong equally the wipe usually does not tear when in use compared to other cheaper brands.

They are also very easy to flush down the loo which is another bonus as I have always been told by my plumber not to flush baby wipes as they are not made to be flushed. These Andrex washlets are made exactly for the toileting needs of us all. They have a very light fragrance, for me personally I have not found them irritating in any way. The Andrex Washlets I received were a box of the blue variety (Classic Clean) rather than the pink (Gentle Clean) so not sure how they differ. The box of 12 packs each contain 42 washlets (wipes) which I like because they are unlikely to dry out if they are not being used regularly. Each pack is resealable too to keep the moisture in although they are not quite as wet as a traditional baby wipe or facial cleansing wipe.

It mentions combining the use of the wipes with using toilet roll, i.e. wipe with loo roll until clean, then use 1-2 wipes and then dry yourself with more toilet roll. Initially I had a huge issue with this because we’ve recently had blocked drains thanks to a neighbour flushing wipes (probably baby wipes) but after testing these out in the sink found that even though are probably just as thick as a normal baby wipe/facial wipe, they rip a lot easier (still holding their shape well when in use) and when immersed in water seem to change in consistency...

I received the

which come in blue packaging as opposed to the pink Gentle Clean version however the wipes appear to be identical in all ways apart from the Gentle Clean being fragrance free and the Classic Clean being fragranced with a cotton fresh scent. If you are sensitive to any perfumes then I would recommend using the Gentle Clean wipes however the Classic Clean ones have not caused any issues in our household.

The wipes come in a box containing 12 packs of wipes and each pack contains 42 wipes. The wipes are flushable although Andrex recommend only flushing 1 or 2 at a time and the ones I received have a fragrance to them which isn't negligible but also isn't cloying.
