Really happy with these food cube trays and so glad that I ordered 2 of them! My baby is just getting onto second stage weaning, so they are the perfect size for the slightly larger meals that he is starting to have. You can also do combinations of 2 veg in one cube as well as portions of chicken, meat or fish etc. Once frozen, the cube pops out nice and easy, with just a push on the underside, because they are made of rubber, rather than that hard plastic (have already had to chuck 3 of those plastic ones away, 'cause they kept breaking!) These are easy to wash up and have a handy lid to protect the food whilst it is in the process of freezing. I'd definitely recommend this product. :-)

Not Actually Suitable For "Food" After All, 22 Jun. 2015

These come marked up as not being suitable for food containing fat.If something is not suitable for food containing fat, that almost certainly means that it leaches unacceptable amounts of plasticisers into the food (the fat in food is what tends to absorb the volatile components of plastic).Is there anyone left out there who has missed the news that fats are not, in fact, bad for us but are actually vital to health?Selling these as "Fruit Compote Trays" might be okay but "Food" should (must! For babies in particular) contain fat.Sending them all back unused.

Excellent for weaning, 22 Oct. 2011

I have used these trays for both my children and would highly recommend. They go perfectly well in the dishwasher (despite some other reviews to the contrary) but are very easy to clean by hand as well. You can just pop one cube out as and when you need to due to the flexible rubber material, sometimes a cube will need a bit of jimmying with a knife but it's doable! I tend to empty the cubes out into food bags once frozen and then reuse the tray so I can make up more food without needing more trays.Have found it to be a very useful addition to the weaning stage.
