I have no previous experience of this scent so I cannot comment on how it compares historically to itself but I came across it because I was looking for an old fashioned men's fragrance. Yeah you can call me old fashioned too if you like but I have been disappointed in the trend in recent years for aftershaves and male scents to be on the sweet side and far too floral. No amount of squirting tester bottles on my wrist or little card strips will persuade me to pay some of the frankly extortionate prices they charge for many of those designer labels. However, although I obviously had no way of testing this first, I have been extremely pleased with this purchase so far. I am by no stretch of the imagination a perfume expert and don't claim to fully understand some of the complexities of their classification. Top (Head), middle (Heart) and base notes anyone? But I do believe though I can smell the fresh citrusy, Bergamot (I love Earl Grey tea) and sage aromas when I first apply it which...

Impressive woody fragrance, creates a lasting impression, 8 Sept. 2015

This Eau de Cologne is polarising as good aromas are. It's not juvenile nor playful, but blunt, sharp and alcoholic as wormwood. The wooden cap tells you everything about it: woody feel with some mediterranean notes. One of the very best things one can bring from Spain, now even cheaper on Amazon. It's available on two forms: splash (200ml or 100ml) and spray (100ml). Splash is cheaper in comparison, but beware: you'll want to use more than you need.

I love the smell of this, my husband has used this on and off for years, normally bought it when on holiday abroad so whenever I smell this it always reminds me of holidays and good times.
