Great product with several useful attributes, 20 Jun. 2016

As a parent to young ones, I have used more thermometers over the past few years than I care to admit. We have lost several and for several of them, I have been concerned about germs and such. So, we ended up with multiple thermometers with names written on them, including the manner in which temperature was measured. It was effective, but made things a little cumbersome. For the past year, we have been using the temporal thermometer by Exergen (https://www.amazon.com/Exergen-Temporal-Thermometer-TAT-2000C-Battery/dp/B004T6G550/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1466444895&sr=8-2&keywords=temporal+thermometer). It has been a relief, since I can now use it without concerns about putting it in their mouth, underarms or any other place. It took a swipe across the temple to get a reading within 1-degree accuracy. For the most part, that worked for us.

An Accurate, Non Contact and Approved Thermometer., 7 July 2016

Brilliant.

The Dr Meter Forehead Thermometer is a really effective and well designed product that you will find is so easy to use and useful you will wonder however you managed without one.

If you have children you really do need one of these.

The non contact action is brilliant and allows you to easily read their temperature when they are asleep.

(Now try doing that with the old in the mouth types).

Similarly for older relatives. The action is swift easy and more importantly accurate.

If you work in a nursery or care home this simple and reasonably priced thermometer is a time and trouble saver.

You can easily switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. The display is clear and easy to read and there is a really good function included too.

By simply holding the M button in place for 5 seconds you can scroll through the options.

Very Fast And Easy To Use!, 4 July 2016

We have several thermometers in our house that range from the ones you stick under your tongue that take several minutes (still digital) to the ones you swipe across your forehead that take about 10 seconds. I was really excited to try this one out because I've used infrared thermometers before and they are very quick.

This one is fast - takes just a second. It's also very easy to use - just point and push the button. There's adjustments for Celsius/Fahrenheit as well as the ability to turn the beeping sounds on or off. There's also the ability to save the reading to memory.

One really handy feature is the ability to take multiple readings and display the highest - to do this simply hold down the button as you move it across the area you are taking a reading of. It will beep every second to indicate it is continually reading. Once you let up it will display the highest number.
