I ordered this for my 5 year old who has a booster seat but is constantly pulling at and slipping out of the adult seat belt.
The autosafe seatbelt adjuster not only stopped the adult seatbelt rubbing her neck, but also positioned it accurately and close against her chest thus preventing her leaning and slipping out.
The photographic instructions supplied weren't immediately clear to me so this is how to fit:
Place the plastic strap positioner at the top of your car seat then feed the long autosafe strap over the back of your car seat. (If your back seat doesn't release forward, I found that you can simple put your hand through the crack where the back seat meets the bottom seat and grap the dangling autosafe strap.) Pull the loose end of the autosafe strap through the seat join and feed it through the tension jaws. Sit your child up against the autosafe, plug adult belt around them in normal way and feed adult car belt through the very well made...

My wife, being under 5' tall finds that the seat belt of my new car rests uncomfortably against her neck.
I, therefore, was interested in the Autosafe Seat Belt Adjuster which, on the face of it, looked like it could solve this problem by moving the belt away from her neck and onto her shoulder.
Now this item requires a strap to be fitted from top to bottom and to one side of the car seat back.
However, as the seats in my car (and in many others I have seen) have the headrest integral with the top, back of the seat, this leaves, essentially, no flat, square surface for the strap to rest on.
The end result is that the strap kept sliding off the top of the seat back which had the effect of making the device unusable.
I, therefore, had no choice but to return the unit for a full refund and have subsequently purchased a thick memory foam booster seat from Halfords which raises her 3" - 4" from the seat which, apart from giving her a much improved view...
