Amazingly good for dry skin, 17 July 2012

My daughter had mild eczema (which went away after application of Hydromol on the GP's recommendation). Recently, her skin appeared to become dry again (I was using Johnson's lotion) and I wanted to try something better. I have read several recommendations in many websites that Aveeno was really good ('the one with the blue lid, not the green'). Unfortunately, I believe the blue lid Aveeno is not available in the UK so one has to resort to Amazon as usual. The delivery took a few days, but I believe this is shipped from the US, so no issues with that.

With respect to the product itself, it is amazing. I find it moisturizes my baby's skin very well, and sometimes, one application a day is sufficient to prevent her skin from getting dry! It doesn't really have any smell, and I guess I am okay with that. It's probably better not to have additional chemicals to add fragrance. A few days of applying the cream and I can see a visible difference in her skin and the mild eczema...

my baby has sensitive and dry skin, with red patchs here and there on his body and face. some hv says it's ezcema and some says its just dry skin. He was prescribed various creams, including e45, double base and none works. this cream is a miracle which get rid of the red patchs after a few times applying it and makes his skin very smooth now.

I read many articles regarding sensitive skin and baby acne. Several suggested this cream and although I wasn't convinced I decided to give it a go when my 6 week old baby girl had a break out of baby acne. Her skin was also very dry in places on her face. Within days of using this cream twice daily the inflammation was reduced significantly, and within a week the break out had completely gone.
