Highly recommend, great buy, 22 Sept. 2014

I wish I had bought this bottle from the start. This will be my baby's last bottle, and I ordered it just out of interests sake, and it's brilliant. I used the plastic Avent bottles until now which I had no complaints about. However, compared to this beauty, they have a few faults. This bottle will not cloud up, I used to hate that! It goes in the dishwasher and comes out sparkling clean. I'm not sterilising anymore, but there would be no clouding issue there either obviously. It takes no time at all to heat up or cool down the milk which is great when there's a demanding baby requiring a bottle. Teats will need replaced like the others, they are the same. There's no worries about chemicals coming off plastic. My baby has dropped his several times, even on tiles and it has been fine, the glass is really thick. If I was buying from the start I would invest in the silicone cover to be sure. All in all, I love it. I'm just sad we won't be using it for much longer because he will be too...

The glass part is fantastic. So much cleaner and nicer than the grotty and possibly unhealthy plastic bottles. My gripe is with the screwtop. It pops off the threads constantly. I even replaced the top hoping that it would be better with a new top but had the same problem meaning that when you shake the bottle, pressure builds up enough to make it explode off the bottle threads scalding you with hot milk. This same problem happens with both bottles I bought so I can only conclude that the glass threads are too short to grip the top sufficiently. If I am very careful and nothing is hot to start with, I can get it to grip enough to be safe but my usband, mother and childminder and anyone else who has made a bottle up have all scalded themselves. Advent were no help with the problem. I am now purchasing glass Nuk bottles for my next baby due soon as without question, glass bottles are much nicer and cleaner.

Easy to clean, 21 July 2014

It is glass, and to me this is what you should be using for your baby baby rather than plastic. Easy to clean, no scratches from brushes as on plastic which can cause infection and easy to sterilize.I was happy to get my order before the due date and even got a complimentary brush with it (maybe because I bought 4 bottles).
