Not what I expected, 14 Jan. 2015
These bibs are made of much harder plastic than I expected. We have the babybjorn highchair which my baby has been using since about 6 months old. She is quite an average height for her age but as the highchair tray tucks right against her tummy we cannot use these bibs as she is just not tall enough. Because the bib is made of hard plastic, including the neck strap, the bottom of the bib presses on top of the highchair tray pushing the bib up into my baby's neck. You can see the bib cutting into her throat and forcing her head back. Obviously we don't use these bibs. A month on and they are still unusable. These bibs might suit taller babies or those that have a big gap between them and the highchair tray or perhaps they were sitting on your lap to be fed. But even then the plastic serms very hard and uncomfortable to me. I like other babybjorn products so I'm pretty disappointed with these.

Absolutely love these bibs, 25 Mar. 2015
Absolutely love these bibs, didn't start using until my son was a year old so not sure if they wouldn't be as suited to a younger baby but they are perfect, they are hard and sturdy but are comfortable around his neck and catch any food that he drops. We tried Tommee Tippee ones which were really uncomfortable around his neck and seemed to get in the way as they are a bit longer.

Disappointed as they are made of hard plastic and not easy to use..., 6 July 2015
I got these bibs for my 6 months old son and unfortunately had to return. the bibs are not soft as the name suggested. they are made of hard plastic (BPA free). The locking mechanism works fine but a bit large on my son's neck. He's on 99th centile so i can imagine it can be too big for smaller babies. and you cannot pull it too tightly due to the hard plastic. I later done some more research and got the Ipow silicone bibs which is so soft and much better value for money (less than £10 for 3). The Ipow bibs can be rolled for storage and travel. They clean very well and the locking mechanism is much better as you can tight them in knots or used the holes provided.
