OK, let's start with the title 'soothers'. I think that pretty much sums up the fact these are packaged for the US market and of course they are know as dummies here in the UK. Not a bad thing, just an observation.
I saw these dummies on Amazon and liked the idea of the clips so when they come out they don't end up on the floor or lost, they just drop onto babies lap.
The actual dummies have a big yellow elephant on the top and are cute. Of course baby doesn't know or care but mummy likes them so that's all that matters there! Being yellow they are colour neutral and suitable for both boys and girls if you prefer the boys have blue and girls pink thing. The teat is a nice size and there are dust covers included for when the dummy is not in use.
The clips work by sliding up and down to lock and release from babies top. They don't leave a mark but they are secured enough to stop the dummy from being lost.

My granddaughter has always got a lot of reassurance from a dummy (dodo to her) and insists on having one in her mouth and one in her hand when she goes to bed! These dummies/soothers are well designed; they have a large mouth guard which is well perforated and a large handle held in place by a plastic top in the shape of an elephant, which she loves. Dust caps are included so that in between uses and after sterilising the dummies will stay clean wherever they are kept. There are also two clothes clips which, as any parent/grandparent will tell you are essential to save the endless searching for the missing dummy whilst a frantic baby decides that the end of the world is nigh and lets you know! The peace which descends when the errant soother is found has to be experienced to be appreciated so the inclusion of the clothes clips is much appreciated.
