I bought these to protect various corners in my living room because my twin 11 month old boys were moving around. My first issue with this product is that the bumpers come with only one sticky pad per bumper. Knowing how good my eldest (now 4 year old) son was with pulling off bumpers, I purchased some additional sticky pads before I fitted them so that each bumper could be secured using 3 sides of each table/unit corner instead of only one. Why compromise for the sake of a few pounds when it comes to safety?

When the extra sticky pads arrived, I carefully cleaned each table/unit corner and cleaned each bumper with isopropyl alcohol to ensure that there was no finger grease present, then attached the bumpers using the supplied pad on the top surface, and an extra sticky pad on each of the two sides.

Earlier this week, I looked up to see that one 11 months old boy had pulled off a bumper, had put it in his mouth, and was in the process of chocking on the bumper...

Although they are good for a week or so, after that they keep falling off. So in the end am a bit disappointed. Only way is to use strong glue like super glue which would ruin my furniture!

Took me longer to stick it all on to the corner of tables and draws than for my 1 year old daughter to remove them. Although strong super glue should do a better job. Also it leave a plastic smell on your hands and fingers. one advantage of this product is no matter how much your toddler claws their fingers into it, little bit won't come off.
