So we were given this as a gift by a friend about a year ago. It initially worked well. You do need to get used to the quantities of water you add for steaming the food but you learn that and the instructions are clear. The problems started about three months ago when the machine was just over a year old (so, I have been using it only for approximately 6 months, mainly since I started whining my little one). It started misbehaving and would not always start the steaming cycle. It progressively got worse and now it never starts anymore, the lights come on but I try to steam in only one container, the lights dim and then nothing happens unless I power off the machine. If I try to steam in both containers at the same time (water levels etc all ok), I get a red flashing light, the machine beeps and then shuts down. Needless to say, that I have taking good care of it (i.e. de-scaling it, cleaning it and not leaving water inside).
I would be happy if the manufacturer took some...
