Excellent product but........, 11 Jan. 2015

My housemate and I bought two of these chairs for our forthcoming summerhouse, for use when the garden has been landscaped in a few weeks' time. We wanted something durable and comfortable which didn't look like garden furniture, and which had the facility to put our feet up - we are both in our sixties. These chairs are really good looking and very comfortable. There is only one proviso: although the main, complicated mechanism in the bottom of the chairs is delivered ready assembled, there are some assembly requirements including the connection of the locking handle, and prior to that, the installation of the arms and backrest. Beware - the instructions are rubbish. They lead you to spend a good deal of time trying to do something that can't be done! And after you've spent many minutes trying to work out what is meant, and you've paused for a well earned glass of red, and glanced at the rest of the instructions casually, you find out what is wrong and can then proceed with...
