I wanted to get this for my brother due to the fact that on a daily basis I found myself going through the pain of stepping on his lego in which he had left scattered on the floor. My son has a mountain of Lego. Tons of different sets all mixed into one. I have spent countless hours trying to sort them so they are more easily manageable to find the bits needed when trying to construct the sets again. They are so annoying and fiddly. When I saw this product and saw how it worked I instantly knew I had to try it. Once I got and tried it out I loved it even more. I didn't read the instruction so I put quite a lot of Lego in the first section rather than few bits at a time. I think if I put smaller chunks at a time it would be more easy to manage. Never the less I had great fun watching the Lego fall and sort into bits. I did remove the very large pieces and the very odd pieces out of it the pile first. You can also twist and remove the different section individually meaning if any bits get stuck it can easily be sorted. I am now also using this as storage. Oh my word, where was this when my boys were little and Legos ruled the floor?! This Blokpod 2 in 1 Toy Box and Storage container is genius! As a parent and now, grandparent, it is awesome for storage of little toy pieces such as the building blocks. First of all it is visually appealing with the crystal clear body and colorful waffle like separators between the compartments. It would fit in with nearly every décor or theme in a child's bedroom or playroom. I absolutely love the fact that the top has slots where even the younger children who play with the toys can easily be taught to feed them into the container after playing with them. A completed project can even be set upon the top after the loose blocks are stored. If a little one is into small cars they can easily be placed in the container too. Some children love playing with miniature characters and dolls which could fit into one of the compartments very easily.
