Arrived just in time for the summer weather and its strong sun. Which can turn the inside of a car into an oven. Its not always ideal to open our rear windows when driving with two very young grandchildren, and certainly not when parked up. Even its not that warm bright sunlight shining in a child's face, or a dog's for that matter, can be very uncomfortable. These Car Window Shades from Brica help solve the problem. They fix to the inside of the rear windows very easily and are firmly held in place. Essentially you just trim them to fit your windows and press them in place. You can even peel them off and re-use them in another place or vehicle. My wife's thinking of getting a couple to put in the conservatory to help protect some of her over sensitive plants. Back to the car ....and you also have the additional feature of the little red label changing colour when the inside of the car gets too hot. Was a bit unsure when these arrived earlier this morning as they came rolled up in a thin box. I thought these will never come out straight without rolling up. It was raining at the time, but the sun came out about an hour ago and my husband put them on the car, tried on the passenger front window first but were too small to get the sun out so we tried them on the back as we have funny shaped windows on the car and the back ones are smaller and shaped, they fitted really nicely and did keep the light out from your eyes, we have a 12 month old granddaughter who has a car seat in the back and I sit with he on journeys and sufferer with migraines as the light gets in my eyes but we've been out with them as the sum has at last come out and they are brilliant, she doesn't have to hide her eyes from the sun not me, and three hours later they haven't moved still straight, The do have little suction cups that stick to the window easily removed and very easy to put on, trying to get them...

These sun shades do a great job of blocking out sunlight (including UV rays) and heat. They go on your car's rear (side) windows.
Each shade features a "white hot" indicator which tells you when the car is hot. Though to be honest you'll probably know if it's hot or not without the indicator!
If your car has large rear windows, you can fit an entire shade without any adjustments. However, if you have a smaller car with small rear windows, you'll need to cut the shades to fit using a pair of scissors. I found this quite fiddly, though perhaps I'm just not very practical. It wasn't easy to cut the shape just right and I ended up with some small gaps at the edges of my car's window.
To fit the shades, you just peel them off the white backing paper and stick them straight to the window, which should be clean. Then you use a credit card or similar item to push any air bubbles out to the edges. Unfortunately, I found this quite difficult and I'm not...
