Terrible double monitor, good single monitor, 18 Oct. 2013

I unfortunately didn't read feedback on the additional monitor. If I had, I'd of seen that when you add a second camera this monitor goes from being a fantastic baby monitor to a useless waste of money monitor. A second camera means it automatically goes to mute. So if you have spilt screen on to see both children you can't hear if ones crying. So at night when I'm asleep the monitor doesn't wake me up. So useless. I'm now off to bed and having to decide which child is most likely to need me in the night, to decide which baby screen to put on as watching both in mute is ridiculous when I'm asleep. Do not buy this if you have two children.

you can't hear both at the same time.. you have to choose which child you want to hear. You can have the video on to see both at the same time, but it's muted!!

Won't give you sound on split screen!!!!!, 1 Dec. 2012

The sound quality isn't quite as good as the BT 250, but the fact that this one has a good quality monitor more than made up for it and I have been more than pleased with it for the year that I have owned it....HOWEVER I have just purchased the additional camera and found that you cannot get sound from both cameras!!!! So instead of being able to have the parent unit on split screen (the main feature that convinced me to buy this model)I now have to choose between seeing and hearing my 18 month old only, seeing and hearing my newborn only or seeing both but having no sound for either, meaning i'd have to sit glued to the monitor for any signs of movement. It does flash up on screen telling you that sound is detected on one of the cameras if you're viewing split screen, but thats no use when i'm asleep or watching tv/reading etc.

Thgis is a major flaw and if i'd have known this prior to buying then I would definately have reconsidered my purchase, or at least i'd have purchased...
