A great pair of cordless clippers that have yet to disappoint, 15 Oct. 2014

Great pair of clippers and a huge improvement over my previous set from Philips. Took a bit of a chance on these as they appeared to be a new model (to replace the older version with stainless steel blades) and there were no reviews at the time of purchase. The ceramic blades seem very sharp and cut well without pulling the hair. The included guards are of very good quality - unlike the built-in adjustable guard on the Philips. The taper lever also has five ratcheted positions which I prefer to the free floating type.

I have used this clipper twice. The first time for a full cut... number 5 on top, and a 3 for the sides and back. I found it lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. This probably took me around twenty minutes and I was pleased to find no power drop, using it cordless, and only having to cut once, so not having to back over picking up missed or uncut clumps. It is very sharp and gives a precise, accurate cut.The second time of using, I shaved my shaped beard down to a six 'o' clock shadow in less than five minutes, including for trimming the edges.But be careful in the little room, it's very, very sharp.

Happy with this product the shaver has a weighty solid feel but is not too heavy. Seems good quality clipping. I only use it without the plastic cutting guides so cant comment on jamming. But it cuts beard and hair (short) successfully. Agree with comments that the pouch is of low quality but as I don't use for travel this doesn't affect me. Previously tried the Wahl Pro ion which quite frankly was rubbish. Very satisfied with this purchase.
