120x60cm Spring Interior Cot Mattress, 24 July 2014

This is a nice, comfortable and reasonably priced mattress. The mattress is a step up from a foam mattress as it has a spring interior and is a really good reasonably priced mattress, however if you are looking for a premium mattress then you should go for a pocket sprung one. The outer cover can be removed and washed on a 60 degree cycle. One 'niggle' with the cover is that I would have preferred the zip to be longer and include the whole circumference of the mattress as opposed to one end/side as I just find putting the covers on and off a bit fiddly especially if doing so on your own.

Thankfully we have not yet had any accidents on the mattress but I don't think that the mattress is intended to be waterproof but rather water resistant so we are using a waterproof cover as well as the outer lining just in case. I would imagine that any major accident would seep through the top cover and therefore that to be safe it is best also using a waterproof cover. I can't comment on the...

Perfect for a dog bed., 17 Aug. 2014

Used this for my husky who has become accustomed to luxury after sleeping on my £2000 Harrison bed.This has a washable cover which you can remove, and has lots of springs for comfort .My husky weighs 19.5kg, which is about the average weight of a 6 year old child , and it holds her with ease.Not its intended use, but my dog loves being able to fully stretch out.

Great replacement cot mattress, 18 Aug. 2014

A new baby we all knows needs a new cot mattress and this is a really nice quality mattress which won't break the bank. The size is as described and fits our cot perfectly.It is reassuring to know that the cover is washable, even though we have a waterproof cover over the top, this can slip with a wriggling baby on it and so it is good to know that this can be washed in a machine should that be necessary.The mattress is comfortable and feels evenly sprung and I would recommend this to anyone who needs a first time mattress or is replacing an old one.
