This is a nice product and seems like an excellent idea, but then when you're about to become new parent just about everything seems like a good idea. You can spend an absolute fortune if you succumbed to every one.

You're going to have a baby. As well as crying and being good for cuddles, babies are well known for emitting noxious substances. On the face of it protecting your cot mattress seems like a no brainer. What might not be obvious is that they very rarely emit in bed.

I've had three children and I would suggest this is a non essential purchase. When you put your baby down, they have a nappy on, and unless you're very unlucky everything that end will be kept in. At the other end, small baby vomit tends be just after feeding, when you wind them. I've had a lot more sick down my back than in their beds. Even then, small baby sick is rarely anything worse than milk, and, assuming there's a sheet on, not going to bother your mattress too much.

Very soft, lightweight but efficient mattress protector., 26 Nov. 2014

This is a very soft and lightweight mattress protector, completely unlike the heavy rubberised cotton or noisy uncomfortable plastic of days gone by. 120 x 60 is one of the most popular mattress sizes and is sold widely, typically being a first cot mattress for a baby who has outgrown a crib or moses basket.Made of 100% soft jersey-knit cotton, it was a snug but not overly tight fit for a cot mattress of this size with good quality elastication that looks as if will stand up to repeated laundering.This size of mattress protector is also useful to fit around a crib mattress; the excess fabric is carefully tucked underneath to ensure a neat fit.Whilst this is lightweight, the quality of the stitching and fabric looks as if it will last for more than one child. A good quality purchase.

Mattress Protector, 9 Dec. 2014

We already have a couple of mattress protectors for our children's cot's from a different brand and so I was keen to see what the mattress protector for this brand would be like as at the time of writing this review it is priced lower than the ones we already have. The mattress protector is pretty much the same design as the others we have which just goes to show you can still get quality products at a lower price.

The mattress protector has a PU backing which protects your mattress from getting wet but the top part is in a soft cotton feel so you could use this without a fitted sheet on top. We still use a further fitted sheet over the top of our mattress protectors as we have matching bedding sets for the children. I can't recommend getting a mattress protector enough as they do really save precious time whenever there is an accident along with saving the mattress itself from getting stained or ruined and you then spending countless hours trying to get the wet out of...
