Well designed baby jogger bassinet (carry cot), 4 Jun. 2014

The Baby Jogger Compact CarryCot is our latest purchase in a growing collection of Baby Jogger products. We previously had a City Mini with a car seat attachment for our first born but always wanted to have a bassinet (carry cot). We have always been happy with the quality, durability and design of Baby Jogger products and this purchase was no exception.

This Compact Carry Cot is versatile and fits most of the popular Baby Jogger strollers including City Mini, City Elite and Summit XC. We have the City Elite now and I find that the bassinet was incredibly easy to setup. The adapters are all included and everything snaps into place within a minute of opening the box. The hood is very generous and folds down almost at a 120 degree angle over the top of the bassinet which provided perfect cover. The outer cover is weather proof which I was happy to see after getting caught in a rain storm on our first venture out of the box. The inside has a soft mattress pad and leaves...

Ok but won't last long, 25 July 2013

Nice good quality bassinet, but I regret buying it, because:- baby grew out of it by 3 months old (7kg but tall)- you don't really need it, baby is quite happy in the main buggy- I thought it would be easy to have baby go to sleep in the bassinet and then detach it and carry the baby elsewhere, but detaching it you have to pull really hard and need 3 hands or be very strong / a guy. I can't detach it without waking baby.If you want one they are usually half price on ebay...

Another Great Quality Baby Jogger Product, 29 Aug. 2015

Wow… what a vibrant, lovely colour was my first thought! The overall first impression I had out of the box was that it was excellent quality. It also feels sturdy and safe with the concealed rigid framework and I like the fact that it does not fold down. Yes, folding down is useful, but if you have other children such as curious toddlers, you will likely want the peace of mind knowing your newborn is safe at all times.

Another plus is that the hood feels substantial, durable and has a nice gliding movement to it, and pulls down quite far and is rain proof as well. Mattress is decent and the covering is a soft velour. I have used this carrycot in a Baby Jogger City Double with the adaptors which are included in the purchase of the carrycot.

Some mums have complained about it being 'too small', but when it arrived and was unpacked, our very 'robust' 14 month old was convinced it was for him, and proceeded to climb in and pretend to sleep. We're both...
