This is an excellent product , very well made and easy to use . It comes with clear instructions and a neat , attractive storage pouch. This is ideal for babies and young children as it is completely non- contact and works quickly. It can even be used to check the temperature of liquids ; e.g. in baby bottles etc. It comes complete with batteries which l always think is a sign of quality. I just wish this had been invented when my own children were young. I received this product at a reduced price in exchange for an honest review. I am delighted to recommend this product.

I first heard of these when I was on a paediatric first aid course and I thought they sounded great, so much easier than the in ear ones, which I had at home.

My kids are in their late teens and 10 years old and our thermoscan, is still used so regularly, any hint of a cold and we all reach for it.

This new digital thermometer arrived securely packaged with batteries and a soft pouch to store it in. We immediately tried it out as we all have colds at the moment. I tried it along side my old in ear one, there were slight differences in temperature depending where you pointed it ( in ear, at forehead) but my one if over 10 years old and probably a little warn out!

It is really easy to use, it flashed a bit when I turned it on initially, but then worked fine . There are 3 buttons on back with the display . Degree C or F. M for measure - ambient room temp/ liquid or body and Sound. Then button underneath to press to measure.

It fits nicely in your hand, not too...

Love this non intrusive thermometer, no more prodding in ears etc with grumpy ill children. Very accurate reading and done in a instant. This can also read the temp of liquids, rooms etc so it's perfect reassurance for new parents. I will never go back to the old style thermometer, this is nonintrusive and so reliable. I received this at a discounted price for a honest review and would definitely advise and one looking for a new thermometer to get this, you will never change back
