This is a warm and weather-proof alternative to pramsuits that are fiddly to get baby in and out of. The big advantage is that it's easy to open up once inside, to avoid overheating. However, for my son, the Bug in a Rug doesn't work very well, because he hates keeping his arms inside it and always manages to get them out. So when it's really cold, I am unable to cover him up properly with the fleece, and still have to put several layers of clothes on him so he doesn't get cold. In summary, it would work well if (and this is a big if for most babies) my child was a little bit more cooperative!!

The Bug in a Rug weather proof wrap is absolutely brilliant. It keeps my little one super cosy in her sling. It is really easy to use and keeps out wind and rain. I ordered this for my great nephew who is going to spend a lot of time In his pushchair as his parents don't have a car. The parents were over the moon with it so what more can I ask. They were looking to buy one themselves. The bug in a rug arrived before expected, which was a bonus. It was as described except it was grey and my picture on Amazon is blue, but never mind. It's a great product.
