More room please!, 25 Feb. 2016

I ordered 12-18mths for my 9month old granddaughter and received 18-23mths. To be honest, it just fits her, so the smaller size would have been too small. It's quite a snug fit, although was easier to load her in it due to the double zip opening on the front panel. The sleeves were slightly long for her but kept her hands warm anyway. The foot attachments were quite small, and it was difficult to get her feet into them. She was only wearing a onsie underneath, without a cardigan, thankfully, or she wouldn't have fitted in. I think if the lining had been silkier, she would have slithered in better, but the soft cotton lining was acting as a 'brake' on her clothes, making it awkward to get her in, and a little more room to get her arms in comfortably without squishing would have been better.All in all, she was as warm as toast when I peeled her out of it, but am praying for some bitterly cold weather, as I fear it won't fit her by next winter!
