Third one I have bought, New design review compared to old design, 22 Jan. 2015

This is the third Baby dan wooden highchair I have bought in the last 7 years, though this being the newer model is the only one I have in this style. To be honest there is not much difference between them but the differences have made positive improvements.

I like other lovers of the baby dan chair have been attracted by the style of chair without going the full hog and taking out a mortgage to buy a Stokke Tripp trapp with all its accessories that you need on top, just to make it functional. The only thing I am disappointed with in the newer version is that it didn't make the base a bit shorter and adjust the angle of the chair to maintain stability. I have just about learnt to avoid stubbing my toe on the legs after 7 years but it still happens. The base of the new one is fractionally shorter and marginally wider but there mm in it not cm.

As good as a Stokke at a third of the price, 17 April 2015

We have a Stokke as well as a BabyDan. BabyDan is slightly smaller but with bigger base slightly sturdier on a floor. I have heard or horror stories with the Stokke of kids rocking the chair and it falling over. That would be much harder to do with the BabyDan.Its stylish and as functional as the Stokke and can be a third of the price so unless you have no budget to restrict your spending buy a BabyDan.

Excellent choice of highchair, 9 Dec. 2014

Excellent choice of highchair. My 6 month old grandchild loves it. Harrison sits happily in it at meal times. He also enjoys playing at the table while his Mummy is preparing his food.
