Fastening must be done with care on a well cleaned surface and allowed to set for at least 24 h. I'd don't know how to explain that to our toddler. Otherwise the product is quite good.

Some other reviewers have rated these only 1 or 2 stars, but these really work for me!Bought 2 to put on sliding mirrored doors and took care to follow the instructions and place securely for a few days to ensure the adhesive had a chance to bond. Sturdy and safe now and removes the fear of my curious little one trapping fingers.(Not sure how cleanly the adhesive will come away when I want to remove this product, but that's a problem for another day!)

Excellent idea but although I followed the instructions of leaving ..., 14 Aug. 2014

Excellent idea but although I followed the instructions of leaving it to set for 48hrs a family member still accidentally pinged it off & its taken some of the paint off. If you're careful it's ok but probably not 'ideal'for a wooden door. Having said that, its probably been the best out of the ones I've tried so far.
