Have had this for some time now, I found it easy to fit and refit after removing. Very straightforward to check if it is fitted correctly. Looks good and has a sturdy feel to it. Is wide enough to fit into any doorway and stairway I have tried. Have used this for three children now but it doesn't show - still looks new
