These cupboard / drawer locks work well. They don't seem too flimsy, although being plastic they probably could break if you pulled the cupboard door open very vigorously.One point to note - they will work as draw locks only for single drawers as pictured (as you need to fix the lock above the drawer). If you have multiple drawers, then won't work as they would be fitted underneath the drawer above, and when the lower drawer is opened, the drawer above would just get pulled open too. You can buy a different type of drawer lock instead.

Have fit one to my cutlery drawer and one to a cupboard.Was a bit fiddly to fit to the drawer as the inside of my drawers have an overhang, these locks have to be screwed in but you can 'switch off' the catch by rotating the centre of the catch to the side, I have now been able to put my saucepans back in the cupboard.

this item was a total waste of money, the latch came in two pieces and was really awkward to fit, would not recommend this item to anyone. my advice to anyone with small kids is check out product reviews first and pay that bit extra.
