Doesn't fit all babydan stairgates!, 5 Dec. 2012
No particular criticism of the actual product but I ordered this to go with BabyDan Auto Close Safety Gate and the spindles are far too short (as mentioned in another review - shame I hadn't read that first!) Just a word of caution to make sure you order the right size which isn't clear from the descriptions given on this website!

They claim that these extensions fit any BabyDan product. They do not!! I bought the BabyDan Auto Close safety gates with these extensions. The spindles on the extensions are about 2 inches too short therefore leaving this product worthless. Amazon, please do not market this product as being fit for purpose across the BabyDan range

This is an old model extend a kit and does not fit on my brand new baby dan gate. I had to get the extend kit from John Lewis instead, which WAS the current model, so did fit.
