Couldn't of been more disappointed. Easy to install and ideal for travelling, it isn't!!, 21 Sept. 2016

Having ordered this for the stated conveniences of "foldable safety barrier to be fixed by pressure, ideal for travelling" and "Easy to install and disassemble", I couldn't of been more disappointed. Firstly, easy to install it is not - the telescope buttons are both difficult to press in and then locate in the right holes. It literally took me 10 minutes of fiddling to get the right holes located top and bottom. Then, the suggestion that it's fixed by pressure is only correct up until the gate is opened. At that point the top connectors are immediately free to move, causing the gate to fall over/inwards. The manufacturers of the product clearly are aware of this as they supply screw held wall fixings. However, with these installed, you may as well but a fixed stair gate as the "ideal for travelling" notion goes right out of the window!.
