Once these locks are in place they are fine, they are easy to open, have a permanent unlocked feature and don't take up much space, the problem is fitting them.The idea is that you slot the two parts together, take off the cover from the sticky surfaces, stick one side on the inside of the cupboard, close the door and the other side sticks in the correct place.This works fine on a standard size door, however if you have a wider or narrower door than usual the swing on the door is not suited to the dimensions of the lock, so you do the above, open the door, close the door, and it jams. This means you have to try to peel the lock off the inside of the door, which is only possible if you have attached it lightly, then try to adjust the position manually until it fits.Overall, these locks are worth it, but you need to close the doors very lightly when fitting, and check that the locks are in the correct position before securing them properly.

They are really good and have worked really well on cupboards but on a stack of 3 draws they don't work so well. I had to put them sideway which meant they didn't catch too well. Apart from that awesome product

Brilliant but the Stickers Didn't Last, 3 Dec. 2013

I was really torn on what to rate this product. First of all, it's brilliant in many respects. With a lot of cabinet locks, you have to stick your fingers into a tiny slot in the slightly open door to release a manual lock. On our smaller drawers with that kind of mechanism, I'm always pinching my fingers when I try to open the door. With these, you just hold up a key, and the door magically opens. Neither you nor your baby is sticking fingers into tiny openings.

At the same time, however, a major plus of this product for me was that the locks just stick right on the cabinets, so you don't have to screw each lock into a cabinet door (a not great thing to do if, like me, you're a renter and are worried about doing permanent damage). We've had these locks for about 2.5 months now, and I have to say although they worked perfectly at first, now some of the stick is starting to wear off, and various locks have fallen off the cabinets.
