These stick well. And they stand up to hacking attempts by anyone 4 (or even 5) and under very well - have had no breaches. Make sure you cut them to a reasonably short length, else cupboards/doors may still be pulled open slightly, giving enough space for young hands to reach in ! Also If you keep catching them on the doors of cupboards then they will weaken and eventually break.

Saves doors being opened., 11 May 2014
I now have four of these fitted around the kitchen, One on the cooker grill, one on the washing machine and two on the fridge freezer. They are perfect to stop little fingers from opening doors unnecessarily. they bare easy enough for an adult to open with one hand, but a child does not have the grip. Very easy to install too.

... my balcony door for few months now - its easy to open/close, 18 April 2015
Had it fitted on my balcony door for few months now - its easy to open/close, my 2year old could reach the door handle, but this lock keeps him away from getting outside! Would highly recommend to anyone!
