These window restrictors are great! Very easy to fit, just 4 screws needed to attach the parts to the frame (I'd suggest using a drill to make guide holes for the screws) and job done.What I like best is the fact that you can remove the arm section from the clip section, allowing you to fully open the window if required without the need for any sort of key or tools to do so. Worth noting though that to do so you have to pinch together the ends of the arm to allow them through the clip section. This is pretty hard to do (reassuringly as you don't want kids to be able to do it!) and requires some strength in the hands so some people may struggle with that.

We recently had some new UPVC windows installed and having looked everwhere for a method of ventilating our property while not allowing our two cats to get out. (House cats never been outside of flat) I came across these window locks. Compared with alternative pet proof screens these are a real, affordable, solution, after all they are designed to stop infants pushing open and falling out of the window so are more than robust enough for our two 5 kg Toms.The units allow an adjustable opening to be locked into position from around 12mm to around 50 mm and are a well designed and robust product. I ordered 3 packs of two and subsequently fitted them to the flat windows (Drill small pilot hole). They work great!!Arrived promptly and well packaged.
