The Babyway Newborn Bath seat allows you to use your own bath when bathing your newborn. The Newborn Bath Seat sits in the middle of your bath in which you fill to a level advised by your midwife. From here you can safley place your baby and wash them. The design of the newborn bath seat allows you to bath your baby without having to balance them in your hand.

I purchased this when my baby was 2 months old as he loves a bath but when holding him i was unable to see his face and interact with him. This chair allows you to sit the baby back and although you must ensure he does not slip you can easily amuse and wash them with ease as you have both hands free. The only thing i would say is the seat is quite hard as its made from plastic but i put a flannel on the seat bit to make it a bit softer. Good price and i can see myself using this until he is able to sit up alone.

I really like this bath aid and our son (4 months) fits into it nicely. I would say though that after 5 months I think he will already have grown out of it, so I don't advise to buy it for 5 mth +.

Not for newborns, 13 Sept. 2012
I would not recommend this seat for newborns, despite it's name. My baby slips down every bathtime. It's almost more of a hassle using this than nothing at all.
